To help marketers succeed in this "mobile world," we redesigned AdWords from top to bottom and rethought everything from creative commands to workflow metrics.

He added that recognizing the use of mobile devices and developing solutions that favor their preference are two very different things. For this reason, they completely changed the perspective on Google AdWords and the way it was developed.

First, they created Universal Apps campaigns, which have driven over 2 billion app downloads since their launch. Now, Google is launching some amazing new products:

• Expanded text ads
• Responsive display ads
• Individual bid adjustments for each device type
• Local Search Network ads on Google.com.br and Google Maps.

MASTER NEWS! Expanded text ads in AdWords

You thought Google would never change its ad text limits, didn't you?

The ads that appeared on the right side of computer screens were removed to improve the search experience and make it more consistent across all devices. This provided an opportunity to expand text ads.

Now, you'll have more space to sell your products in SERPs (search engine results pages), with two 30-character titles, 80 characters for the description, and a custom URL.

This is incredible and will make the quality score even higher, since the ads that are in the top positions will occupy more privileged spots. This will make anything below # 2 and # 3 even more useless..

Expanded text ads are optimized for the screen sizes of the most popular smartphones. Google reports that initial advertising tests show up to a 20% increase in CTR (click-through rate). The expansion of text ads will be launched later this year.

Responsive display ads

The new responsive display ads adapt to the content of the website where they appear. Google promises:

These ads also include new native inventory so you can engage with consumers through ads that match the look and feel of the content they're searching for.

Advertisers only need to provide a title, description, image, and URL. Google will do the rest.

Individual bid adjustments for each device type.

Bid adjustments are a super important tool for controlling how much you pay based on different parameters. You can adjust your bids for mobile devices, for example, by setting a percentage you are willing to pay.

Now, Google is also allowing you to set an initial keyword bid on the device most valuable to your business and set bid adjustments for each of the other devices. You'll also have a wider range to adjust bids, up to more than 900%.

With a greater number of controls, you can now optimize bids more precisely while maintaining simplicity with a single campaign that reaches consumers across all devices.

Local Search Network ads on Google.com.br and Google Maps.

Approximately one-third of all mobile searches are location-related, Google stated. Its new local search ads for Google.com and Google Maps give advertisers prominent display of their business locations when consumers search for specific products or services in that geographic area.

Researchers will be able to see special offers or navigate directly from the Google Maps ad.
